S ummary The effects of gibherellic acid (GA) and N‐dimethylaminosuccinamic acid (B‐9) on leaf growth in several pea cultivars have heen investigated. The relationships hetween the growth of a leaf and its suhtending internode were examined. A general inverse relationship hetween growth of the two organs was found in untreated and GA‐treated plants, and in B‐9‐treated plants grown at low light intensities. At high light intensities B‐9 was inhihitory to hoth leaf and internode growth.
