Seven different cranial measurements of foxes of known sex were recorded. Univariate and multivariate techniques were used to study the geographical variability of the skulls. A clear multivariate separation of skulls from six counties in Wales is demonstrated, which is correlated with certain geographic features of the areas from which the skulls were obtained.
