Some interspecific and intraspecific variations in the fine structural surface details of Tsetse fly eggs

Intra‐uterine eggs from several different species of tsetse flies were examined in a scanning electron microscope. Interspecific and intraspecific differences in surface fine structure were observed at the anti‐micropylar poles of the eggs. These differences are described and illustrated.
