Two species and one subspecies of the family Solpugidae are described as new, viz. Zeriassa luxeni and Solpuga strepsiceros nocturnus from the Kruger National Park, E. Transvaal, Solpugema broadleyi from Southern Rhodesia. Three new species of the family Daesiidae are also described, two, Broomiella browni and Hemiblossia termitophila , from South West Africa, one, Blossiola singularis , from the Kruger National Park. A supplementary description is given of the two sexes of Solpuga celeripes Hirst, described in 1911 from Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia.
