Parabathynetla bakeri sp. n. and P. ninianae sp. n. are described and figured. These species were found in the interstitial water of a sand spit on the shore of Lake Albert, and are the second and third species of Parabathynella recorded from Africa. A synoptic table of the genus is given, and the genera Braailibathynella and Thermobathynella are discussed.
