This article relates the experiences of a group of adults with mental handicaps who took part in an advocacy development scheme. It describes the time they spent getting to know the people with profound handicaps on whose behalf they would be answering a structured interview. This article is a continuation of the one entitled With a little help from my friends which was published in the last issue.
