In Britain a gradually expanding framework of services for mentally handicapped people has been developing over many years. It has always been a frequent complaint that not enough is done to help mentally handicapped citizens. In Leeds, recently, the Community Health Councils published a valuable guide entitled Through the Maze , to explain to people in need of help how to find their way round the large range of different services that now exist.
