Chromoblastomycosis is a chronic cutaneous and subcutaneous fungal infection in man most commonly occurring in tropical and sub‐tropical climates. It is rarely seen in the United Kingdom. Response to treatment is slow but there have been recent reports of successful treatment with itraconazole. We report a case in a 70‐year‐old Bangladeshi man who presented with a recurrence of a long‐standing lesion on his forearm.
