Reticular erythematous mucinosis is a rare syndrome which can be misdiagnosed as seborrhoeic dermatitis. This long‐lasting skin disease, which is characterized by the histological presence of deposits of mucin in the dermis, usually responds to treatment with per os hydroxychloroquine, 400 mg/day, for 3 months.
