The 26th International Conference of the International Council on Social Welfare was held in Tampere, Finland on 3–7 July 1994. The theme of the conference was Global Welfare ′94. The conference adopted the following declaration, which was drafted by the Finnish Organization Committee in collaboration with Pol.Lic. Ronald Wiman.
