There is a large literature concerning the effects of aggregation on the output estimates produced by, and information content of, input‐output models. However, virtually no attention has been given to the effects of aggregation on input‐output multipliers. This paper presents a methodology for calculating consistent aggregate input‐output multipliers for any given change in final demands.
