The new formulation of ‘market socialism’ conceals its partial origin in the thinking of socialists of decades ago. Chris Tame, Secretary of the Libertarian Alliance, argues that old and new socialism alike are impracticable and coercive. Both fail to meet objections raised by liberal writers.
