Russell Lewis’ analysis of the expansion of service industries in the UK is borne out by the improvement they have made in the living standards of South African blacks. Despite the South Africa government's commitment to illiberal racial policies, it is finding itself unable to prevent blacks benefitting from the embourgeoisement of the South African black people.
