Summary. A pair of sheet‐gold objects from an early Bell‐Beaker grave at Radley, Oxfordshire have traditionally been interpreted as earrings, and derived from gold basket‐earrings of the kind represented in the Troy II treasure. This article suggests that they are better seen as hair‐ornaments, like central European Noppenringe; though they may still have a background further east.
