The paper presents a set of conditions for exact aggregation of linear models based on duality. Such conditions admit rather general structures and allow for parametric variation of the coefficient vectors in the objective function and constraints. They do require that the activities to be aggregated be characterized by a proportionality relation. The issue of « natural » versus unrestricted weights is discussed at some lenght and the advantage of using unrestricted operators is clearly pointed out.
