Judy Sebba and John Clarke offer some very sensible advice for those concerned with the teaching of geography. They examine the purposes of teaching geography, particularly in the light of the National Curriculum. They then describe a range of practical activities including an introduction to some of the software packages. They conclude that the concrete approaches described are applicable to all pupils, not merely those with special needs.
