Angela Jacklin and Jeanne Lacey have worked with pupils who have physical disabilities. They are concerned as to how such children can be effectively integrated and offer a series of models for facilitating transfer to mainstream settings. They take us through the models demonstrating their own situation, possible patterns for primary and secondary programmes and finally how the supportive elements of the special school can be maintained in mainstream. They argue with considerable clarity and the figures provided are particularly helpful.
