Summary Experiences with a computer in Medical Statistics Application of mathematical statistics to biomedical problems is facilitated by the use of a computer. When choosing a design the amount of calculation need not be taken into account. As an example the course of the procedure is described for an analysis of variance performed upon the data from a pharmacological experiment according to a 2 < 2 < 3 factorial design.
