By a reasoning similar to Fechner's a general psychophysical differential equation is developed. Its integration allows the calculation of intrasubjective relations, provided the Weber functions of the two pertinent variables are known. The method is empirically validated for the relation between category and magnitude scales and for the similarity function. Theoretical implications are discussed.
