Summary. Cynorkis guttata Hermans & P. J. Cribb in Cynorkis sect. Gibbosorchis , a recently‐described orchid from Madagascar, is illustrated. The identities of Cynorkis purpurascens Lindl., C. calanthoides Kraenzlin and the artificial hybrid C . ‘Kewensis’ are explained.
