Summary. Saxifraga granulata L. (Saxifragaceae) is a characteristic plant of semi‐natural grasslands at Kew. The literature relating to its occurrence in the UK and its use in medicine is summarised, and a description, cultivation requirements, colour plate and line drawings are given.
