This paper focuses on the process of innovation and discusses the way in which actions and activities that are involved in doing leading may improve the chances that a new product may be successful. One major emphasis in the paper is on reframing situations so that resistance to and/or misunderstandings about a new idea might be overcome. Actions involving politics, language, trust and time are discussed as possible contexts in which actions may lead to a change in people's minds about how they respond to innovation.
