When people think of improving teaching and learning, they tend to suggest ways or methods which are outrageous, innovative and often costly (maybe in terms of preparation time). However, these factors do not guarantee effectiveness and popularity with students. Sometimes, a simple but effective method can work even better providing we have made the best use of it and sytematically looked into its effect on student learning.
