Of 131 patients undergoing phlebography, a newpercutaneous transbrachial approach was used in67. Both catheterisation and embolisation of theright and left internal spermatic veins (ISV) wereeasier than with the transfemoral approach, particularlyon the right side as a result of the craniocaudalprogression of the catheter. This newtechnique is recommended for the management notonly of right‐sided or bilateral varicoceles, but alsoleft‐sided ones.
