The yellow nail syndrome is a triad consisting of yellow discolouration, primary lymphoedema and respiratory complications (Nakielna and Wilson, 1976). Since the original description by Sammon and White (1964), many non‐respiratory manifestations of the syndrome have been reported, but not involvement of the renal lymphatics.
