Summary— Twenty‐seven patients have undergone surgical treatment of renal artery aneurysms and the classification, radiographic features and complications of these aneurysms are reviewed. Aortorenal bypass is the preferred method of in situ revascularisation. Extracorporeal microvascular branch arterial reconstruction is reserved for patients with complex intrarenal aneurysms. Removal of the aneurysm with preservation of the involved renal unit is possible in most cases.
