Summary— Bladder capacity, when measured at physiological pressure under light anaesthesia, is a simple useful procedure of considerable practical value, in that it allows valid comparison with the functional capacity during consciousness. Similar volumes indicate structural changes in the bladder wall, whereas different volumes indicate the neurological element in the mechanism of the frequency.
