Summary— Testicular neoplasms diagnosed in 80 patients in this hospital have been analysed and compared with series from other African centres and with series from the United States of America and the United Kingdom. A lower frequency of tumours of germ cell origin has been noted, with a correspondingly higher representation of paratesticular neoplasms. There may be an increased frequency of paratesticular neoplasia in Africans.
