Summary— Thirty‐three women with frequency, nocturia, urgency, incontinence and a stable bladder were treated by in‐patient bladder drill and the results assessed both subjectively and objectively following treatment. Twenty patients were significantly improved and became continent. The importance of bladder drill both as a therapeutic measure and in explaining the possible aetiology of primary vesical sensory urgency is discussed.
