Summary— The clinicopathological details of 375 cases of bladder tumour from Malawi are reported: 371 were cancers, of which 80.1 % were squamous cell carcinomas, 6. 2 % were transitional cell carcinomas and 8. 9 % were undifferentiated carcinomas. Malawi is endemic for Schistosorna haernatobiurn and this study provides further support for an aetiological connection between schistosomiasis and bladder cancer.
