Summary— Twenty‐four patients with invasive penile condylomatosis (Loewenstein‐Buschke tumour) seen over a 10‐year period are presented. The clinical behaviour of the lesions, their pathological nature and response to treatment are reviewed. Their true significance and differentiation from condyloma acuminatum and squamous cell carcinoma are discussed. It appears that the lesions are not as rare as hitherto believed but are often incorrectly diagnosed as carcinoma.
