Summary— Forty patients with the unstable bladder syndrome have been treated in a double‐blind crossover trial of baclofen 5 mg qds versus placebo. Baclofen significantly improved diurnal and nocturnal frequency of micturition and the severity of incontinence. Considerable improvement was also obtained with placebo.
