SUMMARY Apparatus is described whereby three urodynamic observations, namely cystometrograms, urethral pressure profiles, and urine flow rates can be easily and cheaply carried out. Details of the pressure gauge, card index recording system and the technique used are given. It is noted that the investigations discussed tend to be carried out only in specialised units with elaborate equipment. The apparatus and method have been devised and used with considerable success in a busy peripheral non‐teaching hospital.
