SUMMARY1  A simple technique for treating bladder tumours by diathermy snare excision and interstitial irradiation is described. 2  Three hundred and fifty cases were treated between 1950 and 1964 and the results were available for histological review and statistical analysis. 3  The results are shown for all cases, and also for papillary differentiated and for solid anaplastic tumours, by survival curves using life table methods. 4  The results of treatment in the smaller histological groups are set out in detail.
