SUMMARY Thirty‐three patients with contracted bladders from tuberculous cystitis were treated by cystoplasty‐20 being ileocystoplasties, 13 colocystoplasties. Six patients died following operation‐a post‐operative mortality of 18 per cent. The early results were good in 23 cases and satisfactory in 4 cases. We recently examined 17 patients, 10 of these more than 10 years since operation? 6 more than 5 years since operation and one case 14 months since operation. The late results were good in 12 and satisfactory in 5.
