SUMMARY Two cases of metastatic seminoma are reported, one of which is a viable metastasis to the upper spermatic cord from a regressed testicular seminoma. In the other, metastases were found in common iliac and superficial inguinal nodes but no primary site has been demonstrated. The first patient has lately developed extra‐dural metastases, but the site of the primary tumour remains a mystery; the second died of peritonitis 20 months after treatment, no recurrence being found at autopsy.
