SUMMARY Mucosal denudation of the bladder is a simple and reasonable form of treatment for multiple papillary tumours of the bladder. The method is more radical than simple resection of the tumour. A combination of this method with segmental resection of the bladder might be a valuable operative technique in the treatment of certain bladder tumours.
