SUMMARY A case of idiopathic fibrosis around the bladder is presented and it is believed to be sirailar to that described by Hewett and Headstream (1960) who termed the syndrome “Pericystitis Plastica.” The histological picture is identical with the findings in periureteric fibrosis and it is postulated that this is an unusual variant of that disease.
