SUMMARY1 A case of adenoma of the bowel, arising at the site of ureterocolic anastomosis, is reported. 2 The twelve other similar cases in the literature are reviewed and the possible significance in ætiology is discussed. 3 The need to investigate the colon of these patients is stressed.I wish to thank Mr N. S. Stidolph, Surgeon‐in‐Charge of the Genito‐Urinary Department, Whittington Hospital, for allowing me to perform the colectomy on this case and providing the initial stimulus for this report. I am also greatly indebted to Dr S. Robinson and Dr G. Osborne, of the Whittington Hospital, for the pathology and barium enema reports respectively; to Mr Howard Hanley and Mr F. G. Ellis, who kindly gave me details of their cases for inclusion in this report; and to Dr R. C. B. Pugh, who assisted with histological details of Mr Hanley's case.
