SUMMARY This small series of three cases of lateral ureterovesical anastomosis is presented, not as suggesting that this operation offers an ideal solution of the problem of megalo‐ureter, but as being an easy, simple procedure of low mortality (there was none in this series), and capable of prolonging life (when this is threatened, as by a tightening ureteric stricture of a solitary kidney), and, in any case, of giving the patient great relief from painful and pyrexial episodes.
