SUMMARY 1. A plea is made for renewed interest and appreciation of the condition of renal infarction with special reference to partial infarction of renal tissue. 2. A complete and detailed investigation by aortography of the renal vascular pattern is advocated in all cases of hypertension, especially those occurring in young people. 3. Illustrative cases are described.
