SUMMARY A simple technique of micturating cysto‐urethrography is described. Forty‐two patients have been examined post‐operatively in this way (twenty‐eight retropubic and fourteen transvesical). These cysto‐urethrograms have in general afforded radiographic confirmation of good clinical results, and have shown probable causes such as diverticula, ureteric, and seminal reflux for poor clinical results in the others. Seven patients were unable to micturate after the introduction of radio‐opaque medium, and on screening all of them showed a characteristic upward convexity of the anterior bladder wall.
