SUMMARY1 A case is reported of transitional‐cell carcinoma of the colon occurring after uretero‐sigmoidostomy and cystectomy for carcinoma of the bladder. 2 The growth in the colon resembled the original bladder tumour in its histology. 3 It occurred at the site of transplantation of the ureIt is believed to be unique. 4 It is considered that it was probably an implantation growth.
