SUMMARY The following sensations and the nervous pathways subserving them are discussed: (1) The normal sensation giving rise to the desire to micturate; (2) the sensation that micturition is imminent; (3) certain sensations in the upper part of the body associated with a full bladder; (4) an abdominal sensation associated with a full bladder; (5) the sensation that urine is passing; (6) an increase in abnormal sensations present elsewhere in the body associated with micturition.
