Summary A case of extensively calcified tuberculosis of the left kidney is reported. The interesting features are:‐ I. Ten years' history of frequency of micturition due to long‐standing untreated urethro‐trigonitis. 2. The discovery of a large calcified kidney giving rise to no symptoms. 3. The failure to find evidence of any active tuberculosis in the urinary tract or elsewhere. As the patient had only recently recovered from a serious illness no question of nephrectomy arose. In any case she was averse to having anything done.
