Summary A number of specimens of congenital kidney malformations have been examined and their topography has been described. Their importance regarding diagnosis has also been discussed. The malformations described were divided into several groups. My grateful thanks are due to Professor Dible (Hammersmith Hospital) for his kind assistance, to Professor H. M. Turnbull (London Hospital), and to Dr. Lucy Wills (Royal Free Hospital) for their great kindness in supplying me with the necessary material. A small number of the specimens which I have examined belonged to the collection of the late Professor Max Zondek.
