Laparoscopic management of patients with Crohn's disease produces better outcome than open approach in selected group of patients. Resections are commonly performed with laparoscopic assisted division of mesentery followed by extracorporeal anastomosis. We wish to present a short video showing a 20‐year‐old lady with terminal ileal Crohn's disease who underwent laparoscopic ileocaecectomy with intracorporeal anastomosis. Surgery: We discussed three parts of the operation – Part I: mobilisation of bowels; Part II: resection and preparing for anastomosis; Part III: intracorporeal anastomosis. Discussion: Laparoscopic ileocaecectomy should not alter the indications for surgery. However some patients may prefer this approach to more conventional open surgery or medical therapy. It needs not be difficult to perform laparoscopically.
