This paper considers recent research into the incidence of emotional and behavioural disorders with communication disorders and discusses their relationship. It explores why this area of work may be more complex and prominent than before, and suggests ways of managing therapy for this client group and equipping therapists in the 1990s and beyond to deal with them.
