We report on a 52‐year‐old woman with a pure rhabdomyosarcoma of the corpus uteri. Histopathological study revealed that the tumor was composed only of rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) and it was not associated with carcinoma or other elements of mixed mesodermal tumor. An undifferentiated tumor element was observed. Using the indirect immunoperoxidase technique for myoglobulin, the filaments with striated muscle was stained in the cytoplasm of the undifferentiated tumor cells, which was regarded as a pure rhabdomyosarcoma of the embryonal type arising from the corpus uteri.
