Pregnancies Established by Intrauterine Insemination with Washed Spermatozoa

Intrauterine insemination with washed and capacitated spermatozoa was performed in 11 couples whose primary cause of infertility was poor semen characteristics, i.e. oligospermia, asthenospermia and teratospermia, and in 9 couples with unexplained cause of infertility. A total of 59 cycles were attempted. Four biochemical pregnancies and 2 viable pregnancies were achieved, resulting in the birth of one boy and one girl.
